Fake dating. Real action. One last chance to win it all.
May Velasco has always wanted to be a lacrosse player, and she’s finally achieved her joining her college team. But with a terrible junior season in the books, she’s got to give her all to the team to keep scholarship.
But then CJ “Colt” Bradley, her grade school nemesis, turned star of New Haven’s pro lacrosse team, shows up at her college to help with training. She absolutely cannot stand him, and the last thing she wants to do is take pointers from him.
When they’re photographed having what looks like, but definitely isn’t, an intimate moment at a bar, May’s outraged. But the college is thrilled that women’s lacrosse is getting press, and she knows can’t do anything to jeopardise her tenuous place on the team.
So they’ll pretend they’re dating for a bit, the lacrosse program gets the exposure they need, then Colt will go home, and everything will go back to normal. Won’t it?
